For this project, we were tasked with creating an out-of-home campaign for Maglite flashlights, specifically one that focused on using as few words as possible. My partner and I decided that this would be a great opportunity to utilize the functionality of the product to our advantage, and literally let that light the way to our solutions.
In addition to print, we were challenged to come up with a concept for an outdoor 'spectacular' installation. For this, we came up with the idea for a partially LED billboard that would be illuminated by a 'flashlight' spotlight from a distance at night, revealing differing directions to viewers in an urban setting.
